| My goal is to get in touch with as many Jacoy as possible and discover more Jacoe/Iacoe/Jacoy family members. The name Jacoe, as orignally written, goes back many centuries. A manuscript written by the notary Giovanni Jacoe of 1651 narrates that, after Pandosia was destroyed in the year 845, the families Jacoe with the Potestio family and Calderone family built the Casal San Pietro. The same manuscript makes reference to certain documents, which were notarized by a Giambattista Jacoe in the year 1593 and 1595 and other documents written or signed by members of the Jacoe family. To my knowlwdge, this is the earliest date the Jacoe's name has been recorded. All Jacoy, Iacoe or Jacoe families residing in USA and Canada or anywhere else are invited to contact me with information of ancestors who moved in different areas of United States and Canada in the 1800 or before.
