Leila A. Thompson, 102, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 1997.
A lifelong resident of Clarke County, Mrs. Thompson was a daughter of the late J.F. and Ella Bullock Allgood and the widow of James L. Thompson. She and her husband were in the upholstery business for many years. She was of the Baptist faith.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Oconee Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Ricketts officiating.
Survivors include two grandsons; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 4:30-6 p.m. today at Bridges Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Prince Avenue Baptist Church.
