Find Family

* The Ancestors of Michael Jaffe*

Updated December 14, 2001

Most everybody has four grandparents, eight great-grand parents and sixteen great-great grandparents. Tracing family is a very time consuming and enjoyable project. The names I am currently gathering information on include: JAFFE from Latvia (paternal grandfather)My ggrandfather was named Michael Bear probably born about 1840 and married to Figa Liga. They had seven children of which I only have information on one other than names.
BRENNER from Vilkija, Kaunas, Lithuania (paternal grandmother) David BRENNER, born about 1827 married Toby (Tillie) GOODMAN and had four sons. I have complete downline information on this branch and want to find siblings to David Brenner.
GLAZER from Lithuania(maternal grandfather) Sarah PENKIN married Samuel GLAZER. They were from Skopishok, Lithuania. I have the majority of downline information on this branch and want to find more on the PENKIN'S
WARSHAL from anywhere (maternal grandmother) Moshe WARSHAL was married twice and had numerous children with each wife. I have the majority of downline information on this branch and would like to find sibling connections to Moshe. I know of one brother, Sholomo. Their father was Tsvi Hirsh Varshal.
MONOSSON from Russia (maternal ggrandmother. My gg-grandfather, Abraham MONOSSON was murdered in Moscow on April 12, 1892. He had six or seven brothers who scattered throughout the world. I am trying to find descendants. The brothers were fur-traders, jewlers and money lenders.
I not only like to go back, but bring the extended family forward as well. Today's children are the future's generations great grand parents.
