BLAKESLEE - BREW - BYINGTON - EBERT - FITCH - JAMES - LESLIE - MOONEY - PROUT - ROSS

I am researching several family lines, I guess the first one being the BYINGTON family (NATHANIEL BYINGTON b. 1781); (I call him Sr. since I've come across so many) from Weybridge, Vermont dating back to about 1812 from land records that I have found.

Lately, however, I've been "hot on the trail" of my maternal line which includes the families of THOMAS(b. abt 1844) & BRIDGET(b. abt. 1846) BREW MOONEY. Thomas was born in Canada and Bridget is listed as coming from Ireland. Four daughters were born to them (MARY ANN b. 1/6/1867; AGNES b. 8/14/1868; MARGARET b. 3/6/1870; and THERESA b. 7/1/1872). Both parents died at a rather young age and the sisters were separated; Mary Ann possibly to Pittsburgh, PA to live with MARGARET BREW BUNCH; Agnes was taken in by the THOMAS CAROLAN family in Ontario; Margaret went to Ashtabula Cty., Ohio to be raised by her uncle, MICHAEL BREW with the help of his mother, MARY HIGGINS BREW; and Theresa was placed in a foundling home as a baby but unclear as to its whereabouts. Theresa lived in the Ashtabula area and I believe first married a Mr. FREEMAN in 1895 and then later to ISAAC SHIPMAN about 1909.

The descendants and/or ancestors of WILBER HAYES ROSS who was born May 19, 1866 in Ashtabula, Ohio and died on May 27, 1898 in Ashtabula, OH. Wilber Ross & Margaret Mooney were married Feb. 1888.

The descendants and/or ancestors of WILLIAM S. LESLIE who was born about 1828 in Pennsylvania and his son CHARLES LESLIE who was born in Ashtabula County, Ohio in 1858.

The descendents of and/or ancestors of JOHANNES "JOHN" EBERT who was born in Rummelsdoft, Lower Franken, Bavaria in 1820 and died July 5, 1895 in Sandusky, Ohio.

The descendants and/or ancestors of WALTER FITCH who was born on December 24, 1899 in Inez, Kentucky.

The descendants and/or ancestors of AMOS JAMES born on October 31, 1872, in Milo, Kentucky.
