Notes for Anna Laurine Holm: Grandmom Falkenstrom didn't know her mother's parents. They visited her mother's sister and aunts once a year when she was little. They'd go by horse and wagon to visit aunts and uncles down in the Danish part of Germany, getting up around 4 in the morning to be there at dinnertime. Once there the grownups would sit at a big supper table while the children sat by a tablecloth on the floor. They thought it great fun.
