Notes for Charles Labadie: Lived at original Labadie homestead farm house at 16th and Elizabeth St at River Rouge. This had been granted by the French govt to Pierre Labadie in 1750 and confirmed by the British govt in 1770. Originally built of logs, over the years clapboard and additions were added. Annetta Labadie's geneology lists his death first as "ca 1832" and then later in the narrative that he died in 1850, and that his kids were assigned guardians in April 1851. Therefore 1850ish seems more likely. However, 2 of his kids were assigned to Francis Cicotte in 1832 in Indian Territory, so the dates are still questionable.
