He was kind to share with me, so I want to thank him and give him credit for any correct information you might find in that line!!! We especially are interested in hearing from anyone who might help us locate the natural parents of Robert Lee FOLEY, born December, 1863 and raised by John L and Nancy PLYMAN QUICKLE. Family tradition says he was the son of Patrick Jim FOLEY, born in Cork County, Ireland and Liz ROADS. We are also interested in the family of Robert Russell ATWOOD who married Louisa M WATERS in Warren County, Virginia in 1838. She is the daughter of John, according to the record. We believe, but are not sure, that his parents were William and Isabella RUSSELL ATWOOD, who married in Shenandoah County in 1806. We are shamelessly begging anyone with links to this family to contact us. AND if you can link us to a WILLIAMS, WINE, ROSE, or FRAME who could be our Native American ancestor that Mary Elizabeth WINE, our great-grandmother told us about, we will really be grateful!
