I am searching for the parents of Similien Coco husband of Aurelia Boyer(married Sept 16, 1860). Est.- early to mid 1800's. Lived in Avoyelles Parish around Mansura, Cocoville, Moreauville, & Marksville, Louisiana area. The children of Similien were Shelby, Ferdinand, Filmore, Mamie, Geneva, Francis, and Corneilia. He may have had a sister named Lovenia who married Christophe Williams. Similien served in the United States Colored Troops 6th Heavy Artillery in 1864.Any information on would be greatly appreciated. |
