I am a decendant of the Anderson Broaddus family of Fayette (Howard County) Missouri. Thus far I have traced records dating back to 1831. Anderson's wife name was Amanda Knaus bn: October 1837. Both migrated from Kentucky and Virginia and later settled in Fayette, Missouri. From this union six childern where born. One of which was Della Broaddus Diggs HAll. Her Daughter Etta Diggs later moved from Fayette, Missouri to St. Louis after visiting the St. Louis World Fair in 1904 with son Levi. Etta later married Elmer Harrison Sr. If you have any information regarding slave documents, records of ownership,, court records, or military records please get in contact with me as soon as possible. Additionally I am also trying to research the Varner family of VA, GA and TN. My Great, Great Grandfather ( Robert Varner, bn: March 31, 1873)was believed to be born either in VA or Ga. He later migrated to Chattanooga TN where he had three children. He was married to a Idella Barnes whom later moved to Camden, NJ. and remarried to the Robinson family. All descendants of this family and other Geneaologist are encouraged to provide additional factual information.
