Matilda E. Kelsay was born in lens Fork, Adair County, Kentucky, She moved to Denton County, Texas, in 1884 with hter mother. July 14, 1889. she married Joseph D. Moore, born October 10, 1865. Joseph died November 4, 1926, and Matilda died July 26, 1942. Both are burried in Little Elm Cemetery, Denton County, Texas.
