Martha Jane Achor (daughter of John Q. Achor and Ann Davis) was born April 1846 in Ohio⁶⁰, and died 1925 in Highland County, Ohio⁶¹. She married Samuel F. Shoemaker on August 26, 1869 in Highland County, Ohio⁶², son of Azel Shoemaker and Caroline J. Flanagan.
