Rasmus Marius JENSEN was born and raised in Hvilsager, Randers Amt, Denmark. He emigrated to America in 1915. He may have left a daughter in Denmark. His father Niels Johan JENSEN emigrated to America in 1890-91. Rasmus' mother Jensine RASMUSSEN stayed in Denmark, and died around 1962. She may have lived her later years in København, and she may have been a baker. She may have had a daughter. Michael Patrick DONLIN emigrated from County Clare in Autumn, 1857 (at age 20) to Boston, and settled in Springfield, Massachusetts, where he married Bridget CARMODY, also of County Clare. Michael's parents were Patrick DONNELLAN and Alice MALY of Lahinch, County Clare. Michael was born in nearby Milltown Malbay, perhaps at the residence of a relative there. Michael had two younger sisters, and perhaps a brother. Michael POWERS married Elizabeth "Brigetta" ALICE (ALLES? ELLIS?) in Ireland, had several children, then emigrated around 1850. They settled in Troy, NY. They moved to Lancaster, Grant Co., Wisconsin around 1875. |
