MANY ATTEND ANNUAL HOYT REUNION WED.
Relatives and friends of the Hoyt family met at Hoyt Grove in Hickory Wednesday afternoon and evening for their annual picnic reunion.
Following a bountiful dinner, a program prepared by Mrs. Ray Parrish, and presented under the direction of John E. Newell, was enacted, as follows: Group singing under the direction of George Doverspike; prayer, by the Rev. H. s. Taylor, a former pastor of the Penfield and Hickory churches; address of welcome by Mrs. Ray Rhinhulls; a memorial for George Hoyt, of Massachusetts, the one member who passed away August 26, 1950, presented by Mrs. Harold Byham; song, "Where We Will Never Grow Old," by George Doverspike; reading "I'm a Good Cook," by Mrs. Amanda Dunlap; song, "Jesus Never Falls," by Lynn McCasslin; recitation, "The Tapestry Weavers," by Mrs. C. E. Berkey. Following remarks by the Reverends Berger and H. s. Taylor, the program was closed with the singing of "God Be With You Till We Meet Again."
The same officers will preside for 1952 as follows: John E. Newell, president; Mrs. Roy Heberling, Treasurer; Miss Argl Hoyt, Secretary.
