My mother Pauline May Waddington was the first Waddington to be born in Australia in 1926. The rest of my lineage were born in Sowerby Bridge , Stainland , Elland all within ten miles of Halifax. I have gone back as far as 1746 to Thomas Waddington of Stainland . He had two sons Richard b 1767 and Valentine b 1769. The family continues.
