I see that in 1900 the birthplace of Ida is reported as Alabama, both on her entry and those of her children. But in 1910, on her entry, her birth state is shown as Arkansas, but on the children's entries, it shown as Alabama.

Alton here matches other information for Sam Perthshire Butler, born 4 March 1904, according to family genealogies. Their son Knowlton was born on 12 April 1910, so just missed getting counted this year. They had another son named Clark born in 1912.
