Notes for Edmund Butler: World Family Tree Pedigree #1274 has birth dates about 40 years earlier than others I have seen. There are no comments to give any perspective. These dates could be right. I note that the previous dates I had for Edmund Butler were born 1280, died 1321. This would mean he lived only 41 years. This could be, but many of the nobility lived longer lives than that in his era. I have seen no information on his manner of death.
I notice also that genealogy WFT #1274 has all the generations of FitzWalters and Botilers from 1150 to 1387 born in England, whereas others show the Butlers born in Ireland, which would make sense as they family head served the King of England as the Butler and Justiciar of Ireland.
