I am researching the Jerkins, Hawthorne and Kimbroughs Family Roots from Baldwin & Monroe County, Alabama Charlie Jerkins, son of Lucy Pollard; husband of Dolly Washington was born in the 1840's in Baldwin County, AL and had three offsprings; Willie, George, and Rosie Jerkis. Rosie Jerkins married John Young of Baton Rouge, LA; George Jerkins married Mattie Bornw and out of this union they had nine offsprings: Charles, Willie, Walter, Millie, Jesse, Leo, Sosie, Wilmer, and George Jerkins. Surnames: Beaton, Brown, Pollard, Washington, and Young. This information first appeared in the 1920 Alabama census for the county of Baldwin. George Hawthorne was born May 17, 1858 in Monroe County, AL; Priscilla Martin was born June 3, 1858 in Monroe County, AL; Priscilla had two sons; Reuben & Jenkin Kimbrough; George and Priscilla was later united in holy matrimony in Monroe County, but the date is unknown and out of this union they had three offsprings; George II, Ella, and Mary Jane Hawthorne. surnames: Jerkins, Farmer, Woods, Lee, Grissette, Wilson, Rankin, Crowe, Driesbach, Foster, Burgess, Alle, Moorer, Martin, Ridgeway, Poindexter, Glass, Johnson, Stanberry, Farmer, Jackson, Fuller, Jarman, Admas, and Whitehead.
