| I am researching the Jernigan (or Jernegan), Fondren, Clark, Lewis, Marley and allied families. These families were located in Dale, Henry, and Barbour counties (All Alabama Counties) in 1840-1850 time frames. Specifically looking for GA or NC Marriage record for James John Jernegan and Nancy Ward, about 1832-33. They spent some 7 years in Georgia, and I would like to know which part. Their Children were: Nancy A, b. GA abt 1833; Aeretta, b. GA abt 1834;William, b.GA abt 1836; Elizabeth, b GA abt 1838; Sarah Ann, b. AL abt 1840; Jackson, b. AL abt 1842; James Henderson (my ggpa) b. AL in 1845;and Henry W. B. AL abt 1848. Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have. |
