The Jerald Family of Ocala, Florida

I have been researching the Jerald family and its branches for several years. Currently, I have come to a dead end regarding the Jerald line and have only been able to get back to James Robert Jerald born in 1852 but the location is unknown. Earliest history of the Jerald line goes back to the area of Effingham County, Georgia where we became associated with the Waldhour family by marraige. The Waldhours were Salzburgers immigrating from Salzburg, Austria. Other major family connections through marraige are the Jennings found in Georgia and South Carolina. Jennings and Waldhours histories include references to service during the Civil War and Revolutionary War.
