The Mike & Bobbi Jernigan Family Home PageUpdated September 5, 2000 | |
| Mike's Father's side: We are researching the Jernigan family from the Coffee County region of Tennessee. We are descendants of Wiley Jernigan in that area. Our branch comes from Henry Jernigan (one of Wiley's 7 children), our grandfather was Huston Jernigan, Henry's oldest son who moved to Washington State in the early 1900's. We especially would like information on Henry's wife Sara whom we have conflicting information (maiden name: Farral, Carden, Bynum, Nichols). Mike's mother's side: Roy Wheelock and Essie Evans had a mine in Rainier National Park & worked it until the early 1960's. We haven't done a lot of research on that side of the family, yet, but other members have. Bobbi's father's side: Family names: Plint and Nicholls are both from England. They emigrated to Butte, Montana in the early 1900's. Bobbi's mother's side: Family names: Brock & King. They homesteaded in the Kootenai River Valley in Northwest Montana in the early 1900's. We also have information on The Brock family who homesteaded in the Kootenai River Valley, in Montana in the early 1900's. We have concentrated on the Jernigan family the past couple of years, but the Brocks are having a family reunion this summer, which should be informative. We would appreciate any information anyone would have, and of course, will share what we have. |
