This home page is set up in order to research and contact the JINES of the world.
My primary research has been for the descendents of Joseph Jines b: circa 1770, NC, USA. He and his family have traveled from NC>GA>TN>KY>IL, where they branched out to MO>AR>TX>LA>CA.
There is another branch of JINES family descended from Jacob JINES b;circa 1770.MD,USA. They have gone from MD>OH>IN and branched from there to CA etc. I believe very strongly that Jacob and Joseph were related, possibly their fathers were brothers. At this time I have over 3490 names in my database.
In 1998 we had our first National JINES Family reunion in Mt. Vernon, Il. It was very positvly attended and everyone had a great time. We are planning another for this coming year on Labor Day Weekend, September 1-4th, 2000 in Perryton, Tx at the JINES Ranch.
