The Johnson Family Home Page
is dedicated to the 5 generations of the Johnson’s, who have lived on Gasprilla Island, Boca Grande, Florida. And who’s lives have been tied to the sea for more than 113 years.

I am continuing the search for information on James Fredrick Johnson. Born 1815 in Sweden and moved to Carteret Co. N.C. around 1850. He married a local girl, Elizabeth Willis from Smyrna, N.C. in 1860 at Morehead City. They had two children and moved to Punta Gorda, Fl. about 1885. If you have any information please contact Charles Johnson Shipchase@aol.com
