Frank A. Love, age 78 of Rt. 6, Charlotte, died Tuesday, September 20, 1966 in a Mooresville hospital. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 22nd, at the McEwen West Chapel by the Rev. E. Vaudry Williams. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. A life long resident of the Paw Creek community he was born in Mecklenburg County, May 1, 1988, son of the late James M. and Ruth Annie Love. He was a retired service station operator and a member of the Paw Creek Presbyterian Church and Woodmen of the World Camp. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Alma Poteat Love; daughter, Mrs. Jean Joy of Paw Creek, two sons, Lucius M. Love and Eugene A. Love of Charlotte; seven grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Ida Hall, Miss Margaret Love, and Mrs. Brill Sisk of Charlotte; six brothers, Clyde Love of Roanoke, Va., Arthur Love, Macon Love, Melvin Love, Roy Love, and Avery Love of Charlotte.

MRS. ALMA POTEAT LOVE, 84, of Mount Holly, formerly of Charlotte, died November 17, 1987, at Lincoln County Hospital in Lincolnton of congestive heart failure. Funeral is 11 a.m. Friday at McEwen Funeral Home, Charlotte chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Love was a homemaker and a Mecklenburg County native.
Survivors are her sons, Eugene Love of Matthews, Lucious Love; daughter, Mrs. Florine Joy of Mount Holly; brother, Brooks Poteat of Eden; sister, Mrs. Ethel Williams; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Theresa Carithers Love, 65, of 1908 Little Rock Rd. died April 23, 1996, at her residence.
Funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday at McEwen Charlotte Chapel with Rev. Danny Vanzant officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is 7-8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Love was born October 3, 1930, in Lexington, NC, daughter of the late Dorsey E. and Hazel Hamner Carithers. She was a retired teachers assistant and had served at Pawtuckett Elementary School.
Survivors include a son, Barry E. Love of Oxford, GA; daughters, Kimberly L. Pettit of Gastonia, NC, and Cynthia L. Pham of Milan, TN; sisters, Judy C. Martin of Jacksonville, FL, and Sue C. Stein of Carrolton, TX; and four grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Freedom Presbyterian Church, 1646 Toddville Rd., Charlotte, NC 28214.
