Notes for Daniel Boule: Married Jessie. Had a farm at near The Dalles, Oregon, and they farmed there until they retired to a home in the town. They left there in 1927 and moved to Portland. They lived there when he died, so don't know about family info that he is buried in Tacoma.
There's a mention of a saloon he and a parner owned in The Dalles in History of Wasco County by McNeal.
The French people stayed at the dinner table for hours. The children could only eat after the adults had finished. So Velma appreciated Aunt Jessie because she had two tables and they could all eat at the same time. So the children liked family get-togethers at Uncle Dan's house.
This was Mom's favorite uncle. She worked at their house during harvest time.
