We are just getting back to researching I do have to tell you though I have allot of Data that is yet to get into my files I am way behind please have paitence with me I am working on it. we no longer have a page on Roots Web. I had to deal with my sons death in 05 and am just getting back to my Research. but as you see if I do come here to update when I am able, I am working on what I can. Thank you for your understanding. Any way I wont stop my Research. I have more and More I need to put in Pictures and more data as well I am finding more and more information mostly from Ancestry.com also we havebeen give
in allot more information from some wonderful people. Also I would like to Thank them so much because without them wanting to share with us when they know thier Family names are in our files. And also let people know that yes its true I may not have a direct link to allot of people (FOR EXAMPLE) someone contacted me and asked how was I related to the Gilbert name as it was thier last name and felt that if I was not directly related then I did not have any bussiness researching the Gilbert surname,Well, I have a Gilbert ancester. I do have allot of names I am not related to as well but someone eventually came from our Patrnal Lines & Maternal LinesMy husband and I are not just collecting names, We are hopeing to someday to publish a more Detailed book for all the lines that tie together so it will help people when its all said and done for future generations. We started with our Direct line like everyone usually does researching thier
Paternal and Maternal lines and it all just gotten bigger and bigger and fun. Hence the name Our forever growing roots and Branches. This site has helped allot of people find thier Family lines and to help them get started on thier Genealogy lines and as they say we all go back to Adam and Eve anyway. NOTE though I will no longer share our files before people have shared with me, Its not very nice to take and not share I put in allot of hours searching. Genealogy is not only addicting but fun and sometimes.its very frustrating and expensive to trace lines. Also I can not prove any line that is before 1850 and after that date. But before like the 1700s that I CAN NOT HELP. 1840 and before that day there are no Family names included just the head of the household. I leave buying records on those to the family who is reaserching thier lines. We are hoping to republish on roots web very soon. Thank you very much for your pacience and we hope we can help even just a little bit to find your roots.
Our GENEALOGY Research IS ALWAYS IN THE WORKS I KEEP GETTING TWIGS On Our Trees and I then have to investgate to comfom them though if possible. There have so many nice distant distant distant & even Step Distant cousins people. we have met so far,We started our genealgy about 10 years ago or so.. I am at this time not ordering much from Birth and death records if the state dont cost to much. we have been trying to get books as well because so far WE Have nothing over 1850 and bear in mind please also my husband has been is working on his Genealogy as well so between us and this is a guess at this moment we have almost 3000 names and adding more all the time. We are also working the womens lines as well they came from somewhere Too. We do hope we can someday create a book.
At the bottom of this page is a link to Our Rootsweb Page where more people in our files are at. But please note I put in a cutoff date of 1905 so that nobody who was born after & who is still alive after this cutoff date is listed online.
