I began researching my family tree about 1990 after being inspired by stories told to me by my father and aunt, both whom are still alive and in their late eighties.I have managed to go back to 1720 with Thomas Beech who was born in Cheshire. My great, great grandfather was Peter Beech born 1821 in Witton, Northwich, Cheshire. By 1841 Peter was living in the West Midlands which is known as the Black Country, hence the majority of my research has been based around this area. I have also researched my mother's family surnames which are all included in my family tree, along with my first husband's ancestors and my new husband's tree. My father was born in Parkes Street, Brierley Hill and lived there with his parents and siblings until 1942, when he was relocated to work in Whitchurch, Glamorgan, where he remained and still lives today. I am dedicating this website to both my father Thomas Edward Beech and his sister Margery Beech, who supplied me with so much information, including many family photographs and certificates.
