Pictured are my GGGgrandparents, William Houston Sullivan and Corilla Bowles Sullivan and my GGgrandmother, Willie Lear Sullivan Kerr Deener. Corilla Bowles Sullivan (1842-1919) was the daughter of John Bowles (1788-1859) and Elvira Rootes (1814-aft.1880). William Houston Sullivan was the son of Houston Sullivan and Mary Angeline Parrott. William and Corilla were the parents of eight children: John W. Sullivan m. 1st Nathal Tandy, 2nd Mary money; Robert Houston m. Mary A. Bowles; Mary Etta m. Rezin Hammond Davis; Martha m. Farris Bennett Jr.; Cordelia Ann m. 1st Thomas Jefferson Blevins, 2nd William R. Caulk, 3rd J. W. Wise; Joseph Marion m. 1st Georgia Ann Mills, 2nd Susan Frances Beard; Ida M. m. Sam D. Caulk; and Willie Lear m. 1st Howard Kerr, 2nd John W. Deener. William was a Union Soldier during the Civil War and served in the 13th Kentucky Infantry.
