A lady, whose name I have forgotten, (perhaps a McKnight) shared this photo with me some years ago. The photograph is of the grandmother of Samuel B. Hackley (1877-1943) who was Mayor of Campbellsville around the 1930s. Unfortunately, it was not known whether it was his paternal grandmother, Lavina Jarboe Hackley, wife of R. D. Hackley, or his maternal grandmother, Rutha P. Eades Phillips, wife of Nathan Donaldson Phillips. The latter, Mrs. Phillips is my GGGGgrandmother. I would much like to positively identify this as either Lavina or Rutha. Mrs. Hackley was born around 1816 and died sometime in the 1870s. Rutha was born in 1819 and died in 1902.
