This is a charcoal drawing of my GGGgrandparents, Sylvester Price (1843-1924) and Elizabeth Skaggs (1846-1906). They were first cousins, both grandchildren of Wm. Skaggs and Margaret Hoover. The original framed drawing, from which this snapshot was taken, belongs to Opal Goff of Campbellsville. She is their great-granddaughter. Sylvester was a Union Soldier in the Civil War, serving in Company F of the 13th Kentucky Infantry, U.S.A. He and Wm. Houston Sullivan, both my GGGgrandfathers, are my only ancestors who served in the Civil War, both serving in the same unit.
