My GGGgrandfather, Sylvester Elder Price (1843-1924) with his sons standing behind: Charlie Price; Buck Price (my GGgrandfather); Sylvester Price Jr; and Sam Price. Sylvester was a Union Veteran of the Civil War having served in Company F of the 13th Kentucky Infantry. In the early 1900s he operated a grist mill near Maple in Taylor County, Kentucky.
