| William SILLETT was born in Cratfield, Suffolk, England in 1816. He married Maria PARNELL. Their children were Charlotte, Sarah Ann, James, William, and Henry. To the best of my knowledge, only James (My gg grandfather) and Henry came to America. James and Henry both fought in the Civil War. James was in the Fifth Ohio Voluntary Infantry and was wounded and discharged in 1865. Henry spent his live in Indiana and James in Ohio. Joseph JARDEE was born 1809 in Switzerland, he married Catherine JANNEY in France. Their children were Julia, Armena, Frances, Polly, Josephine, Nichols, John, Vicey, Justin, Adelaide and Alexander. My direct line came from Alexander who was born in 1854 in Oswego, Oswego Co., NY. He married Sara Catherine MORTON. Their children were Archie John, George Washington, Ulva Stanley (My great grandfather) and Albert Eli JARDEE. Ulva married Myrtle Frances HAYES from Fairbank, Buchanan Co., Iowa.
