| I am researching the Johnson family from Brenham,Washington County Texas. Bob Johnson was my great Grandfather first appears to come in during or at the end of slavery, but I don't know where he was before that. He married Almelia however, I never knew a maiden name. Edward Johnson was my Grandfather & married Betty Lockett in September 29, 1906. To this union ten children were born: Dallas Johnson, Nelda Kossie, Ozell Johnson , Eddie Mae Johnson , Laura Ann Johnson , Ellsworth Johnson Sr, Barbara Johnson , Kermal Johnson, Jewelene Johnson , & Vernita Johnson.
