Obituary- Died of injuries suffered in a jeep accident while participating in armored division maneuvers with the 2nd army near Hartsville, Tennessee. At the time of induction into army May 1941 he was employed at Buick Plant II. In 1937 he graduated from Central High School. Before going on maneuvers he was stationed at Murfreesboro, Rutherford, Tennessee. Cecil is buried in Flint Memorial Park in Flint, Genesee, Michigan.
