Luck, Lela Mae-- of Flint, formerly of Beecher, age 96, died Saturday, Sept. 5, 1998 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Services will be 1p.m. Wednesday from Milies Martin Funeral Home. Burila in Flint Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6p.m. Monday and all day Tuesday. Mrs. Luck was born August 22, 1902 in rosebush, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert and Carrie H. (Kurtz) Brown. She and John A. Luck were united in marriage in 1921. He preceded her in death August 9, 1975. She was formerly employed with Marvel Carburetor. She retired from Luck's Realty, which she owned and operated several years after working with Jewett's and Crosby Realties. She was a Notary Public for many years. Surviving are her 3 sons and 2 daughters, Harold Luck of Flint, Warren and wife Pat Luck of Mt. Morris, Orville and wife Jackie Luck of Clio, Florence Hall of Phoenix, AZ. Marilyn and husband Bud Varner of Clio; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; several gereat-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband and brother, Carl Brown.
