Frederick William Zarbrock, son of Mrs. Carl Dietrich, was born in Province Posen, Germany on April 6, 1873.
At the age of 14 years he came to America alone to live with his uncle in Guttenberg, Iowa. He remained in this vicinity working on various farms until February 22, 1900 when he was married to Miss Mary Meyer of Garnavillo.
After their marriage they moved to Worth County, Iowa on a farm southwest of Manly, where they lived 28 years. Then they moved to their home in Manly, where they lived when Mr. Zarbrock died.
His life came to a sudden end on April 20, 1933 while in the act of planting a tree. His age was 60 years and 20 days.
Services were held April 29 at the Manly Lutheran Church. Reve. G.G.Parker in charge. Interment was made in the Manly Cemetery.
Mary Meyer Zarbrock was born May 1, 1865 to Louis and Anna Verges Meyer and passed away March 14, 1948 at the age of 83. Services were from the English Lutheran Church and burial in the Manly Cemetery.

Agusta Wilhelmina, First child of Carl and Pauline Dietrich, was born March 3, 1879 at Hermanstorff, Germany and married William Walter on January 7, 1896 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Guttenberg by Rev. Janzig. They resided on a farm near Osterdock in Malory Township. To this union were born four children. Namely, Anna Emma, Alma Louisa, Elsie Clara, and Otto Christ.
William Walter died in 1906 and was laid to rest in the city cemetery in Guttenberg.
Mrs. Agusta Walter was reunited in marriage to Waldin Klemp, April 3, 1913 at Prairie De Chien, Wisconsin. To this union were born nine children. Namely, Gertrude, Earl John, Elemer August, Walter Albert, and Carl.
Mrs. Waldin Klemp suffered a stroke in July of 1953 and from that time until her death February 14, 1958 she was semi-invalid or invalid. She was laid to rest in the Guttenberg City Cemetery.

Waldin Carl Klemp filed a petition for naturalization on July 26, 1920. He was 31 years hold at the time and resided in Guttenburg, Iowa. The petition stated that his wife was Augusta Klemp, age 41 and they had 5 children. . .

Clara Emma, youngest child of Carl and Pauline Dietrich, was born October 30, 1893 at Guttenberg, Iowa and was married June 23, 1920 to Jacob Ezra Noble, son of Oliver and Harriet Noble at St. Paul, Minnesota by Rev. J.Otto. They resided at the Dietrich home place which later they owned.
To them was born Ella Mae and Vyrle Oliver Dietrich.
On June 23, 1945, Mr. and Mrs. Noble observed their Silver Wedding anniversary. In the evening a group of 45 friends and relatives gathered at their home to celebrate the event.
Jacob Ezra Noble passed away October 5, 1957 because of cancer of the liber and just two months after he had an operation at Dubuque to determine his trouble. He was laid to rest in Guttenberg City Cemetery following services at St. John's Lutheran Church.
Clara Emma Dietrich died January 13, 1985 following a heart attack she suffered January 10th. Funeral services were held January 15 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Gutteberg with Pastoer Lellick officiating. Burial was at the Guttenberg City Cemetery.
