Earle filled a very prominent place in Sycamore and DeKalb county, and was active in community activities and civic leadership for over fifty years. Earl Joiner was a Republican in politics. His campaign slogan was: 'Join the Joiner forces -- elect Earle Joiner for County Clerk.'

Notes for RALPH MYRON JOINER:
Like his father Earle, Ralph began working in the DeKalb County Clerk's office in 1936 and was elected County Clerk in 1954, retiring in 1975 having served for nearly 40 years in public service. Ralph and his wife Bertha are members of First Baptist in Sycamore, serving in various offices and capacities: deacon, benevolent treasurer, teacher and member of the choir. They both have been active members in their community.
