Welcome to the James Family Tree Homepage. We are collecting information on the James, Betts, Daniel, Evans, Farmer, Long, Poole, Pounds, Sawyer and Walton families originally of Halifax County, Virginia.

Our Family Trees can be traced back to Felix Pounds, 1827-1909, Drury Evans, 1807-1884 and Paul James, 1866-1938. Information posted was compiled primarily from data furnished by James R. Poole, Jonathan Evans, Sheldon Wright, participants of the 1998, 2000, and 2002 Family Reunions and many other family members.
