3. Constance² Hopkins (Stephen¹) was born May 11, 1606 in England, and died October 1677 in Eastham MA. She married Nicholas Snow Bef. May 22, 1628 in Plymouth, MA. He was born 1605 in England, and died November 15, 1676 in Probably Eastham, MA, on Cape Cod.

Notes for Constance Hopkins:
Constance Hopkins was the mother of Mark Snow, who led directly to the Ransom ancestors of our family. Constance was born in England to Stephen
Hopkins and Constance Dudley. She corssed the Atlantic in the MAYFLOWER
in 1620 at the age of 15, with her father and stepmother Elizabeth Fisher.
Constance married Nicholas (1) Snow in 1623, at Plymouth, MA. He'd just arrived on the vessel ANNE. Their son Mark Snow was born on May 9, 1628, after the
couple had moved out on Cape Cod to Eastham, MA. Their children that led to us continued to be named Snow for 3 generations, all of them New Englanders before the Revolution. We have not determined the burial place of Constance Hopkins, and it may be obliterated by time.

Notes for Nicholas Snow:
Nicholas (1) Snow is a very ancient ancestor of ourselves, and he actually arrived ona ship from England in the early 1600's. He had a son Mark Snow that led to our Ransoms.

Nicholas (1) arrived at Plymouth, MA on the vessel ANNE in 1623. This is a fairly famous boatload of settlers, arriving soon after the MAYFLOWER, with a great many of the people that MAYFLOWER children married. Nicholas (1) proceeded to do just that, marrying Constance Hopkins the same year. He and Constance moved out on Cape Cod to Eastham, MA, where their son Mark was born in 1628. Nicholas (1) remained at Eastham all his life, where he was town clerk and deputy. His grave is not mapped, and if it was not obliterated by centuries is probably near Eastham.
