Notes for Johannes Geosits: This is certainly the correct ancestor even though there appears to be some confusion about whether his wife's name was "Eva" or "Elisabeth". On a visit to Sentpeterfa on 4/26/1997, the local priest and I were able to determine the correct marriage date by eliminating all other men named "Johann Geosits" who were married in the 20 year span surrounding the possible marriage of my ancestor by checking the index register of all marriage records. Because of the large number of men named "Johann Geosits" born during this span however, it is not possible at this time to narrow down the possibilities and determine the correct names of his parents. When his marriage record is located (I have been informed that a hard copy is in Eisenstadt in Burgenland), this may then be a possibility.
