Notes for Bolesta z Kepa: According to Jerzt Lempicki in his book "The Mazovian Baronage":
"...The family Kepski was already by the 14th century the owners of Kepa in Plock and belonged to the group of leading families within Mazovia. The family is from the Clan Jastrzebiec, most numerous in the palatine of Plock. The first heir of Kepa during the years 1374-1394 was Piotr of Kepa, whose son was undoubtedly Bolesta. In the year 1408, Bolesta was the Castellan of Wyszogrod and together with his two brothers brothers, Nadbor, who was standard bearer of Wyszogrod, and Pomscibor, as well as his (Bolesta's) sons Goda and Piotr, were confirmed in the privleges of nobility as members of the Clan Jastrzebiec by Duke Siemowita IV of Mazovia. Bolesta's daughter was married to the heir of Gulczewo. It is possible that it is his sons, Goda and Piotr, who show up in legal records from both 1408 and 1450."
