Welcome to my genealogy page. Here are a few of my ancestors of note. John Hume (b. 1761) of Lancaster Co., PA who served in the American Revolution with the PA Militia. Sgt. Phillip Judd of CT who served with the Connecticut Militia in the Pequot Indian wars and, later, in the American Revolution. Frank Thalman, from Defiance, Ohio who saw his first action of the Civil War at Chancellorsville and a month later at Gettysburg with the 107th Ohio Volunteer Infantry.

Another ancestor of note is Fred C. Judd who was the sherrif of Meade Co., KS at the turn of the 20th century. It was a real thrill for me when, while watching Gunsmoke, Matt Dillon announced he was leaving Dodge to see the Sherrif of Meade! I wonder if it was Uncle Fred?

My main lines of interest are the Judd, Brobst, Petersen, and Hume lines. Other names of interest are: Yeager, Fulweiller, Billman, Stambach, Keller, Parish, Lee, Bean, Poley, Golden, Schneider, Tennis, Shields, Tellefson, Gardner, Huber, Thalman, and Musser.

If our research interests cross, feel free to contact me via email. I'm always interested in new information and am willing to share what I have.

Happy Hunting!
