My g-great grandfather was JOHN JUMPER brought to US when a small boy by Uncle and Aunt Melchoir and Elizabeth NUSSLE/NUSSLI. John B 1843 Baden, CH canton Aaragu. (From census rec. and Family records.) NUSSLE's found in Peoria, IL 1860-70 Census. I believe the JUMPER name was at some point changed from a German spelling possibly TSCHUMPER/SCHUMPER or ??. Have found no immigration or naturalization records. John served in Civil War. The NUSSLEs had a daughter Maria. A letter reguarding her estate from a lawyer tomy grand father William Evertte JUMPER said ther were relatives in Switzerland. Where and When did these people immigrate ? HELP
