2. WILLIAM RHODES² WILLINGHAM (WILLIAM R.¹) was born April 4, 1852 in Texas, and died August 18, 1889 in Texas. He married CAROLYN WRIGHT Abt. 1872 in Upshur Co, Texas. She was born Abt. 1854.

Notes for WILLIAM RHODES WILLINGHAM:
A letter I received from a Jean Willingham states this couple married about 1888 and had ten children. This doen't seem possible because he died in 1889. He did have ten children and it seems more likely that the marriage date she has is wrong.

4. THOMAS T.² WILLINGHAM (WILLIAM R.¹) was born August 5, 1855 in TX, and died February 15, 1920 in Gilmer, Upshur County, Texas. He married LAURISIE J. (??) WILLINGHAM. She was born November 24, 1857, and died March 15, 1920 in Gilmer, Upshur County, Texas.

5. HENRY JACKSON² WILLINGHAM (WILLIAM R.¹) was born June 7, 1862 in Texas, and died July 25, 1909 in Milo, OK Buried at Woodard. He married (1) FRANCIS MAE RUGGS October 7, 1880 in Upshur County, TX. She was born March 21, 1855, and died January 24, 1887. He married (2) MARY VIRGINIA LATHAM July 14, 1889 in Camp County, TX, daughter of WILLIAM LATHAM and MARTHA GLASS. She was born December 5, 1870 in Shreveport, LA, and died April 29, 1942 in Delta County, TX Buried in Emblem Cemetary.

(Henry should be 11 or 12 (by the birth date taken from his bible), but I still believe this to be him (later he says he was born in 1862), the Surratt farm was next door to his parents farm and close to the Davis farm where his brother and sister were living in 1870. The only problem is I can't find where Thomas is at in 1870, they were orphaned about 1865)
(In 1900 this family lists as Jason F. Surratt 55,AR,SC,AL and Nancy 61,TN,TN,TN-married 32 years with 11 children)
