| This research inludes the Family names of Ross, Capps, Jump and many other names from my family tree. All of the families listed had ended up in Oklahoma or have a connection to Oklahoma.The Ross and Capps family are from around Sallisaw, Oklahoma area. The Jump family migrated to Oklahoma from Kentucky and settled in the area of Apache and Fort Cobb Oklahoma. This research also includes the family's of Frizley, Benge, Fields, Sumpter and Claborn just to name a few. The Ross side of my family are of Cherokee decent. Some of the family had moved to Oklahoma before the Indian removal and others were forced to Oklahoma by the Goverment durning the trail of tears. My grandfather Kye Ross was 5/8 blood Cherokee. You will find many mistakes in this home page I'm sure. Please let me know and I will correct them as they come up. If you don't find any mistakes let me know also.I would like to hear from you either way. I will constantly be upgrading and correcting mistakes as I go alone. Take Care Everyone Steven M.
