Note: Johan emigrated on 1 Nov.1642, from Sweden. He sailed
On the “Swan” and arrived on the Delaware below the

This is not correct, but shows a misreading of his will. From his will: John & Esther had no children mentioned in the will. These above mentioned children, were the children of his sister. His will gives( 3) brothers; 1.Peter, 2.Mans,(Moses),(Morris)(Maurice),3.Gunner, 2 sisters,Ann & Christiana,sister Bridget Tyson’s children;Richard,William,Christiana&Hester.

Note: Documents have that he married Sarah Longacre (1713-1758)
in Christ Church,Philadelphia,PA.,buried at Olde Swedes Church,
daughter of: Peter Longacre and Barbara Friend;married
second,before 1763,Elizabeth Yard; daughter of William Yard,held
court at his home in Trenton,NJ.and Mounce had 9 children by his
wife Sarah Longacre. However; according to deed transactions,
New Jersey records;book E-F page 89, on 13,July 1733,James Trent
of Trenton,NJ.,sold land to Maurice Justice, (carpenter)in Trenton.
Then from E-F on page 90, Maurice Justice(carpenter) and wife
Elizabeth, sold property to Saml Johnson on 14,June1737;stated as
previously property bought from James Trent. Maurice’s children by
Elizabeth Yard seem to be:

From New Jersey wills; “I Joseph Justice of Trenton,
Hunterdon County, NJ.,” “My last will and testament…item,I give
devise and bequeath my brother John Justice, my house and lot in
Trenton, during his natural life, and the time my said brother
Deceases, I give and bequeath the said house and lot unto my
brother’s son Maurice, which I give unto his heirs and assigns
forever. But provided the said Maurice should die without law heirs
that then the said house and lot to be equally divided amongst the
surviving sons of my said brothers John Justice.” It also gave
brother John Justice the remainder of his estate,”both real and
personal.” “With his paying my sister; Mary Dunbar; the sum of
“one hundred pounds” and “the best bed and bedding.”
Written 26 May,1795,signed John Justice. Probated June 1795.

of the 10th Regiment of the militia of the commomwealth of
Pennsylvania, in the 2nd brigade of the 11th division, composed of
the militia of the counties of Bedford,Fayette,and Somerset. He
owned a farm in Milford Twonship, Somerset County, PA.
His wife, Elizabeth Boling, daughter of Englishmen John Boling,
who was captured at the age of 12 from Gibralter, Spain.
