I
became interested in genealogy in 1999,when my father,
Carl
Vernon Allen,b.Scioto County,Portsmouth,Ohio,12/13/1927;
gave
me some family bible information and I discovered that I could research it on
the internet.
My interest just grew as I obtained more
information and more family names.
I had
no idea where our families came from, really, I just thought we were always
from Ohio.
Although there was plenty of family name
documentation, there was no place of origin documented,
except
Scioto County, Portsmouth,Ohio for the Allen's and
Beach
City,Ohio for the Justice family.
As my search continues,I find these names
in our tree:
Allen,Beard,Bennett,Burrows,Caldwell,Cole,Conley,Cope,Coriell, Coryell,Ewes,Gustofsson,Hollinger,Huddleson,Huddleston,Hussey,
