The KACSUR family came from Csap, Ung Megye, Hungary (now Cop, Zakarpatska Oblast, in the Ukraine) around 1900. They settled in Lorain County, Ohio after a stop in McKeesport, Pennsylvania. Other names in this line are SZABO-FECSU, and SPISAK from Somodi, Abauj-Torna Megye, Hungary (now Drienovic, Vychodoslovensky Region, Slovakia), and MIHAULIC, also from Csap.

The KOCSIS family came about the same time, from Kis-Kukullo Megye, Hungary (what is now Craesti, Mures, Romania) to Summit County, Ohio. Other names in this line are SZEKELY-IMRE and VARADI.

Aaron CASPARY came from Prussia, what is now Ryczywol, Posen, Poland. He settled in Charleston, South Carolina around 1850 and married Albertina GOODMAN, from Neustadt, Germany. Their son, Ralph Louis Caspary later moved to Youngstown, Ohio and married Linnie SHULTZ. Her mother was Elizabeth Ann COVERT, one of the Butler County, Pennsylvania Coverts. Also looking for WEIMER of Butler County, Pennsylvania and SHAFFER of Mahoning County, Ohio.

My HIGGINS line has led me to long lost cousins. Miles HIGGINS and Sarah DOCHERTY were from Ireland. They moved to Airdrie, then Coatbridge, Lanarkshire, Scotland, and then on to Pennsylvania and Mahoning County, Ohio. McGAFFNEY, McINTEE, KERR, and HERNAN also went from Ireland, to Scotland, to Ohio. My other Irish families, FLYNN and VARLEY, came from Ireland, to England, and then went on to Mahoning County, Ohio.
