The George Bothasts of Union City, Indiana

Updated February 8, 2005

I am currently searching for anyone related to George Bothast of Union City, Indiana. George came to America from Germany somewhere around 1830 and lived in Dayton, Ohio. He married Mary Christena Adam in 1855 and in 1857 moved to Union City, Indiana. He had twelve children, of which nine lived to adulthood. They were George H. Bothast, John Bothast, Charles Bothast, William Bothast, Adolph Bothast, Anna Smith, Mae Williams, Bertha Alexander and Mary Elizabeth Holzfaster.
I have been working on this family for only about 6 months.
I am trying to get as many names as possible so that I may invite them to our annual reunion at Harter Park in Union City, Indiana in June.
Any information that you can give me would be appreciated. You may contact me by mail or phone. Thank you for all your help.
You may also contact Lee Bothast at bothasts@earthlink.net if you have any information you would like to share. Hope we hear from you soon.
