This home page will ultimately represent three family trees:1) Kamps/Richardson, 2) Fledderjohann/Shanks, 3) Swonger/Stone.
The last few generations of these families are centered in Ohio.Originally, the Kamps family was from Germany and the Richardsons from the British Isles (I think).They settled in northern Ohio, near Cleveland/Akron area.The Fledderjohanns were from Ladbergen, Germany (early to mid 1800's?) and settled in Auglaize County, Ohio.The Shanks's came from Edinburg, Scotland (also early to mid 1800's).The Swongers came from Lancaster, Pennsylvania to Ohio.
