Kane [Last Will & Testament] Margaret Holinshead (1775 - 1850), second wife of Thomas Holinshead (1777 - 1848) LAST WILL & TESTAMENT Dated 18th of November 1850 Extracted from the Principal Registry of the Probate Divorce and Admiralty Division of the High Court of Justice In the Prerogative Court of Canterbury 18th of Nov. 1850 Mrs. HOLINSHEAD (first written as HOLLINGSHEAD, but the second L & G have been struck [/] out) wishes this her last Will and Testament to be couplied with First that the £200 in the 3 ¼ per cents should after the expenses for her funeral have been deducted be equally divided between the seven surviving children of her late husband Thomas HOLLINGSHEAD and her own two sisters Rachel YATES and Ann THOURDS she likewise wishes Mrs. EASY to send her clothes to her tow sisters she wishes to be buried at St. Michaels St. Albans as respectably as her late husband she wishes a hearse and one mourning coach containing Mrs. EASY and her two sons in decent mourning and to be met by the family. PETTIGREW Minister of the Episcopal Chapel Broupton Nov. 18. 1850. and Eliza Lucy RAWSON 15 Moutpelier Square Appeared Pesonally Eliza Lucy RAWSON of No. 15 Moutelier Square Broupton in the County of Middlesex Spinster and deceased of Margaret HOLINSHEAD formerly of Kettlewells near Saint Albans in the County of Hertford but late of Trevor Square in the Parish of Saint Margaret Westminister in the County of Middlesex Widow deceased who died on the nineteenth day of November last the said Will bearing date at the top thereof 18th of Nov. 1850 and she further made oath that on the eighteenth day of November one thousand eight hundred and fifty aforesaid the said Testatric duly executed here said Will by making her cross or mark at the foot or end thereof in the presence of her Depouent and of the Reverend A. F. PETTIGREW Clerk the other subscribed witness thereto both of whom (to wit this Depouent and her said fellow witness) were present at the same time and this Depouent and the said Reverend A. F. PETTEGREW Clerk thereuponaltested and subscribed the said Will in the presence of the said Testatric and also of each other. Eliza Lucy RAWSON - On the third day of December one thousand eight hundred and fifty the said Eliza Lucy RAWSON Spinster was duly sworn to the truth of this Affidavit Before me W. C. (with the Will a??sed) of the goods chattels and ?redits of Margaret HOLINSHEAD formerly of Kettlewells near Saint Albans in the County of Hertford but late of Trevor Square in the Parish of Saint Margaret Westminister in the County of Middlesex Widow deceased was granted to Rachel YEATES (Wife of Jacob YEATES) the natural and lawful Sister and one of the next of kin of the said deceased having been first sworn by ??ou duly to administer No Executor or Residuary Legates.
